Mission High School At a Glance
History
Founded in 1890, Mission High is the oldest comprehensive public school in San Francisco.

Mission High’s 1,100 students come from every corner of San Francisco, plus the East Bay and the Peninsula.
In 2017, Mission High’s Boys Basketball Team won the State Division III Championship—the first time ever by a San Francisco school.

In addition to on premise sports facilities, Mission High also has a museum, a creek (in the basement!), and an organic farm.
